From what I read, this is already kind of occurring for PC as the word is "you will get what you kill". There is not an actual looting function to do so though asi ti will show up at end of match like loot does now.

Right now in character setup, the faction you choose doesn't mean anything as you can simply skill into any other faction's suits and weapons. Therefore, I think bonuses should be given when you use suits and/or weapons that matches your character...
